The second of three people charged with meth-related offenses in Watson has been sentenced to prison.

23-year-old Michael J.R. Snyder of Effingham pleaded guilty Wednesday to a count of aggravated participation in methamphetamine manufacturing. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, and 75% of the sentence must be served before Snyder will be eligible for parole. He will also serve three years mandatory supervised release once out of prison.

Snyder was charged with 36-year-old James Erickson and his wife, 33-year-old Dawn Erickson with the meth offenses following their arrests at the Erickson home in May.

Officers located more than 4,000 grams of meth liquid in a detached garage on Erickson's property. Surveillance equipment and firearms were also found.

Earlier this year, James Erickson pled guilty to manfacture of meth and was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Effingham County State's Attorney Bryan Kibler said the difference in the length of sentences was due to what authorities believe was a difference in the level of culpability in the case by the two.

Dawn Erickson is due in court on Monday on her charge of possession of methamphetamine precursor.
