Teutopolis High School is readying for Homecoming Week.

This year's theme is "A Night in Oz".

Homecoming Queen candidates are Mikaele Deters, daughter of Ted and Sharon Deters, escorted by Eric Willenborg; Christa Schwinke, daughter of Carl and Tina Schwinke, escorted by Tyler Broom; and Samantha Will, daughter of Tim and Laura Will, escorted by Ryan Kremer.

Junior Attendant is Emma Beckman, daughter of Dan and Meg Beckman, escorted by Ethyn Dust; Sophomore Attendant is Lanae Koester, daughter of Ted and Laura Koester, escorted by Eric Kremer; and Freshman Attendant is Ashley Thompson, daughter of Kyle and Cheryl Thompson, escorted by Luke Ungrund.

The Retiring Homecoming Queen is Kayla Kroeger, daughter of Gary and Brenda Kroeger, escorted by Austin Johnson.

The escorts mentioned will accompany members of the Homecoming Court at the dance, not for the ceremony at the game.

The 2016 Homecoming Game will be held on Friday, December 2. The game will be played in J.H. Griffin Gym at Teutopolis High School with the Wooden Shoes taking on the Breese Central Cougars. The JV game will begin at 6:15pm. The Homecoming Court will be presented between games.

The Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, December 3 at the Bishop Parish Center in rural Dieterich. The parents and community are asked to view the coronation at the game, rather than at the dance.
