Oblong Resident Injured in Early Morning Crash

An Oblong resident was injured in an early morning crash Sunday.

State police report 34-year-old Dusti McKee was traveling on a rural Jasper County road at 2:30am when McKee's van ran off the roadway. The van continued to travel through a ditch. McKee overcorrected, causing the van to come back on the roadway and then overturn multiple times. The van came to rest upright on the south side of the roadway.

McKee was airlifted from the scene to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN for treatment.

McKee was cited for DUI, not wearing a seat belt, improper lane usage and no insurance.
