North Clay school board members Wednesday discussed future capital improvement needs.

Superintendent Monty Aldrich and the Board discussed future building maintenance needs and financing, including outstanding debt and health/life safety needs that need addressed.

The Board accepted the audit of the past fiscal year's books, and set a hearing on the levy for the coming fiscal year for their December meeting.

Board members approved an additional two-game suspension for fan Gina Rinehart, and offered an apology to the Altamont School District and to the referee involved in an incident.

In personnel moves, the North Clay Board hired Christian Taylor as volunteer assistant 5th and 6th grade basketball coach; approved a maternity leave for Lisa Pike from April through the end of the school year; accepted Kaylee McCollum's resignation as junior high volleyball coach; and hired Regina Levi and Kim Travis as substitute paraprofessionals.
