Semi Driver Injured in Crash Near Neoga

A semi driver was injured in a crash near Neoga Monday morning.

62-year-old Rickey L. Luckey of Neoga was traveling north on US 45, two miles north of Neoga at 11am when the crash occurred. State police report Luckey turned a corner too short and the trailer tires of the rig left the side of the roadway. The load inside the trailer shifted, causing the truck tractor and trailer to overturn, coming to rest on its side in a ditch.

Luckey was injured and was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham. Luckey was cited for improper lane usage.
