Two Burglaries from Motor Vehicles

Effingham city police are investigating two incidents over the weekend of burglary from a motor vehicle.
One incident occurred while a vehicle was parked at 1101 Avenue of Mid America sometime between 8:46am and 9:46am Sunday.
A leather bag containing paperwork was stolen along with a voice recorder. The passenger side window was damaged during the incident.

A similar incident occurred at the same address while a vehicle was parked sometime between 5pm and 6pm Sunday.
A television and a Blu Ray player were stolen. The driver's side door lock was damaged during the incident.

Police are also investigating the theft of a bicycle while it was parked on a sidewalk at 101 E. Jefferson. The theft occurred sometime between 10pm and 10:46pm Friday.
