Watson Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash

A Watson man was injured in a motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon.

Effingham City Police report 21-year-old Paul Gillet II was traveling on the interstate exit ramp at Fayette Avenue just after 4pm when the cycle left the roadway. The cycle fell over and came to rest in the ditch. An IDOT delineator post was struck and damaged.

Gillet was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

No citations were issued.
