Officials Announce Travel Guidelines Related to Luke Bryan Concert

Effingham City Police and Emergency Management, in cooperation with local and county agencies, have issued a travel advisory for Saturday, October 15, with regards to the Luke Bryan concert Saturday night at Mid America Motorworks on North Route 45.

For those attending the concert:

--no parking is allowed along Route 45...all vehicles parked along the roadway will be removed

--parked vehicles cannot block or obstruct roadway traffic, driveways, roads or bridges

--follow all posted traffic signs as well as IDOT electronic signs

--all ADA accessible vehicles, limos, and RVs should use Gate 4

--all concert traffic will follow the instructions of the traffic control officers on site

--be listening to 979XFM or KJ Country 102.3 for up-to-date information 

Those travelers not attending the concert are encouraged to seek an alternate route around or through the city. Expect traffic delays along Route 45 from Technology Drive to 1800th Avenue.
