Much needed new furniture for the lobby ER waiting area at Clay County Hospital was recently purchased by the Clay County Hospital Auxiliary. The new furniture, made up of chairs and tables, is not only aesthetically pleasing, but easier to clean and resistant to germs and viruses.

Chelsea Musgrave, Chief of Human Resources Officer, said, “The old furniture was becoming worn and outdated. Also, the new furniture will help us continue to strive for the cleanest environment possible for our patients and visitors.”

Currently, the lobby also serves as the ER waiting room, so the furniture sees a considerable amount of use. The replaced furniture was the original lobby furniture from the opening of the hospital back in February of 2000.
