Effingham Public Library will partner with Effingham County Clerk Kerry J Hirtzel to host a voter registration drive on the first floor of the library Monday, Sept. 12 and Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Voter Registration requires that you are a U S Citizen, you are at least 18 years of age, and must be a resident of the precinct at least 30 days prior to Election Day. Two forms of identification are also required with at least one showing current residence address.

The public is encouraged to drop in and register to vote as well as update voter registration. The County Clerk’s office will also have a ‘for fun’ ballot available for demonstration purposes.

No advance registration is required for this event.
