Effingham resident Harley Thomas has been sentenced to 18 months in prison, but further charges that could mean more prison time are pending.

The 23-year-old Thomas was sentenced for attempting to foil a drug screen. He will face one year of mandatory supervised release once out of prison.

Thomas, though, still faces trial on three counts of methamphetamine delivery, along with a count of unlawful delivery of a firearm. He is set to be tried on those counts on October 3.
