One Injured in a Rural Jasper County Accident

A personal injury crash occurred early Sunday morning in Jasper County injuring a man from Oblong.
 
State police report at 1:34 Sunday morning a green Honda Foreman four-wheeler driven by Wayne L. Davis, 34 of Oblong was eastbound on county road 1375N approaching the intersection of county road 1475E. Davis failed to reduce speed to negotiate the curve and went through the intersection into the ditch on the east side of county road 1475E. Davis hit a livestock fence causing the four-wheeler to overturn, ejecting him from the four wheeler which came to a rest in the pasture. Davis was flown to Carle Foundation hospital due to his injuries.
 
Wayne Davis was charged with driving under the influence, illegal operation of an ATV on a roadway, operating a vehicle with no insurance, driving while license revoked, and improper lane usage.
