Taylor Hartke Makes State FFA Band

Taylor Hartke, the daughter of David & Korrie Hartke of Teutopolis, was chosen to participate as a member of the Illinois State FFA Band. This is the 2nd time Taylor has been chosen for this honor.

Members practiced and performed at the 88th Annual FFA Illinois State Convention June 14–16 in Springfield. While there Taylor was also chosen to audition for the National FFA Band, which will perform at the National Convention in October.

While at the convention Taylor not only represented the Teutopolis chapter in the band, but was awarded a Silver Award for her work as Chapter Reporter and received a Gold Award and the honor of being named one of the top five Outstanding Section Reporters for her work as the Section 20 reporter for 2015-2016.

Taylor is currently serving as the 2016-2017 Section 20 Vice President and will be a senior at Teutopolis High School this fall.
