Herman's Hermits to Perform at DuQuoin Fair on Senior Day

Wednesday, August 31 will be Senior Day at the DuQuoin State Fair. All seniors, aged 60 and older, will receive free admission to the DuQuoin State Fair. In addition, the sounds of the 60's will once again fill the air when Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone perform on the Grandstand stage.

The self-proclaimed 'Original British Invasion Band' is best known for hits such as, "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter," and "I'm Henry the Eighth, I Am." The group has seen success at the top of the charts overseas and here in the United States. The group previously appeared in various movies and on television shows such as The Ed Sullivan Show, Dean Martin Show, and Jackie Gleason Show.

Tickets for Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone will go on sale at 9:00am on Friday, July 15 via Ticketmaster and the fairgrounds box office. The fairgrounds box office will be open Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm. The fairgrounds box office can also take phone orders. That number is (618) 542-1535.
