The 2016 Sheriff's Posse Ride, organized by the Effingham County Sheriff's Office and several volunteers from the Effingham County community, was held this year to benefit Catholic Charities.

Effingham County Sheriff Dave Mahon and his group of volunteers rode east through Effingham, Jasper, Cumberland and Shelby counties, raising $3,606.40 for the organization.
