Effingham Water Authority trustees heard this week from residents of Town Hall and Twin Oaks Subdivisions. The residents are hopeful of getting a buoy placed in the cove between the two subdivisions.

Trustee Jim Boos said the Board would review the request and inspect the area. Boos also asked the Authority's boating committee for its recommendation.

Trustees also heard that the lake level was down approximately three inches, and approved the prevailing wage ordinance for the coming year for contracted work done for the Authority.
