No Injuries When Vehicle Strikes Unit 40 Bus

No one was injured when a vehicle struck an Effingham Unit #40 school bus on Wednesday.

Effingham city police report a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Melody McManaway of Edgewood struck a bus driven by 58-year-old Vickie Schoenhoff of Effingham at Keller Drive and Evergreen Avenue just after 11am. There were students on the bus at the time of the collision, but no one was hurt in the incident.

No tickets were issued.
