Watson Area Photographer Featured on CNN Photo

Tytia Habing of rural Watson was being featured on CNN Photo Friday.

A selection of Habing's images from her project, This Is Boy, will be featured, along with an interview and story about the artist and project, written by CNN journalist Jamie Gumbrecht.

When Tytia first became pregnant, she secretly hoped for a girl. She got a boy. That was over eight years ago and her life has since been filled with dirt, shoes full of sand, sticks, scraped knees, go carts, cut-up cardboard boxes, toy guns, dinky cars, four-wheelers and a never-ending sense of amazement at the foreign little creature she brought into the world.

She and her husband were living abroad when her son was born, but they returned to this area to give the child they wanted him to have while growing up.
