St. Elmo Principals Get New Contracts

The St. Elmo Board of Education Monday approved new three-year contracts for building principals Brian Garrard and Sean Hannagan.

The Board also approved hiring Amanda Copeland as a high school English teacher for next school year, and authorized the honorable dismissal and reassignment of Krista Stine. Also, the Board re-employed Melissa Wells and Rachel Hicks for next school year, accepted Elise Asher's resignation as high school varsity volleyball coach, and reassigned Jeni Haslett from JV volleyball coach to varsity volleyball coach for next school year.

The St. Elmo board approved membership in the IHSA for next year and rejoined the SEPCO purchasing co-op for next year, and also okayed an amended calendar for the current school year to account for a snow day in February. 

Board members also approved the bus expulsion of a student.
