The Effingham Water Authority Board met over the noon hour Tuesday to discuss what they're looking for in a successor to Lake Superintendent Gene Arnold.
A successor is needed at the latest by June 30, 2013, when Arnold's retirement becomes effective.
Members of the Water Authority's boating, erosion control and water quality committees were sounded out at the meeting for what they're looking for in the next superintendent. The information is being sought before a job description is finalized.
