Former Neoga Resident Found Dead in Effingham

A former Neoga man was found dead in a motel room in Effingham Sunday.
The Effingham County Coroner's Office reported the death of 42-year-old Brian K. Starner of Dover, Pennsylvania, formerly of Neoga.
The Coroner's Office was called at 8:15am Sunday to the Days Inn Motel on Keller Drive. Starner was pronounced dead at 8:35am in the motel room he had been sharing with a family member that found him unresponsive that morning.
The cause of death is pending results of toxicology tests performed by the Coroner's Office.
