Neoga Trivia Night Huge Success

Neoga Booster Club's Seventh Annual Trivia Night was a success Saturday evening.

"We had lots of fun while raising at least $2,500 for Neoga students," said Neoga Booster Club trustee Julie Williamson. "Many thanks to the 29 teams who signed up to play and for the volunteers who kept the night moving like a well-oiled machine. Thank you."

First place went to the “Whiz Kids” from Effingham. Members of the team are Andrea Rennels, Kim Tarrant, Mary Holle, Larry Holle, Steve Stewart, Kenna Stewart and Millie Lange.

Second place went to “Here for the Food” from Sigel. Team members are Brian Walk, Derek Walk, Greg Walk, Melody Smith, Tim Smith, Nick Walk, Ethan Walk and Stacey Walk.

Third place finishers were the “The Squids”  from Altamont. Team members are Scott Beal, Kurt Becker, Brian Gilbert, Mark Gilbert, Rob Harder, Robert Harder III, Jon Oliver and Rick Seagle.

Brenda Evans and Diana Foor were recognized by the Booster Club for their help with the sale and delivery of Indian Pride merchandise.

"Their dedication over the last several years has helped the Booster Club bring in thousands of dollars in sales," said Williamson. "The Boosters are thankful for Brenda and Diana’s everyday assistance. The Neoga Booster Club sincerely appreciates the teamwork and community support that made Trivia Night a successful fundraiser. Thanks again everyone."

Eric Tarter won the half time Head and Tails game. Door prizes went to Melissa Kamm, Mike Roy, Trenton Moore, Abbi Kepp, Ethan Walk, Molly Masulis, Rebecca Nevius, Toby Hutchings, Tom Stolz, Leah Keck, Rose Gesell and Ellen Hall.
