The hearing on whether a juvenile charged in the shooting death of Kaylee Jacob should be tried as an adult has been postponed from today to Friday.

The hearing had been scheduled for this afternoon, but due to the weather, the juvenile charged in the case will not be brought to Effingham County from the juvenile facility in Edwardsville where he's being held.

Judge Kimberly Koester had planned to announce her decision as to whether the case would remain in juvenile court. Information and testimony was presented at a hearing last week.
