Dr. Peter Bonutti Serves as Keynote Speaker and Faculty at Professional Conferences

Peter Bonutti, MD, FACS, was faculty speaker and moderator at the Sixth Annual “New Technology for the Treatment of Adult Hip and Knee Disorders” in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Bonutti lectured on surgical approaches of total knee arthroplasty. He also gave speeches on Autologous and Chondrocyte Implantation: “ACI: I Like My Own Cartilage,” “Single Use Instruments for Total Knee Arthroplasty,” “I Like It Smaller – Downsized Approaches for Total Knee Arthroplasties,” “Lateral Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty: Should We Stop,” and “Subvastus Approach to Total Knee Arthroplasty: I Like to Save It All.” This was a National Course with over 240 Orthopedic Surgeons attending the course which was held from August 24-26.
On August 31–September 3, Dr. Bonutti was invited by Cleveland Clinic faculty for “Innovations in Plastic Surgery: From Bench to Bedside Course” in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Dr. Bonutti was keynote speaker and presented on the topic of “Creating, Protecting and Capitalizing on your Intellectual Property.” The meeting included surgeons, engineers, inventors, and business leaders focusing on surgery and plastic surgery. The goal was to focus on development of innovation, refining technology, translating innovations into successful medical technologies, and partnering surgeons with innovators and business leaders.
