The National Weather Service is indicating we could receive some bumpy weather this afternoon and evening.

A strong storm system will bring rain and strong winds to the area. Winds from the southeast from 25 to 40MPH are expected. Thunderstorm chances will be highest this afternoon. Severe storms with damaging winds may occur east of the Illinois River. Isolated tornadoes are possible, mainly southeast of I-70.

Rain is expected to end quickly by this evening, with snow developing late tonight into Wednesday behind the low. Little to no snow accumulation is expected in the region.
