1,631 people were served at the 2015 FISH/Catholic Charities Christmas Store.

The Christmas Store was held December 14-17 at the Agracel Building at 2201 North Willenborg Street. FISH Christmas Store Chairperson Karen Luchtefeld said 583 eligible families took part by shopping and/or receiving food boxes at the store.

Of the 1,631 people served, 114 were those two and younger, 498 ages three to 12, 135 kids ages 13 to 18, and 884 adults.

Bags of groceries were prepared and delivered to 195 senior and disabled citizens. 195 half-hams were given in the senior/disabled food bags, 443 whole hams and 140 chickens were distributed to the families.

Luchtefeld said there were approximately 200 volunteers over the 10 days of set-up and operation of the Store.
