Teutopolis school board members honored members of their Techtopolis Committee Monday night.

Techtopolis is the name of the fundraising effort that will pay for Chromebooks for every Grades 2-12 student in the district and tablets for every Grades K-1 student in the district for the 2016-17 school year.

The Board held a public hearing at the meeting concerning their intention to sell $500,000 in working cash fund bonds. The sale would increase the district's Working Cash Fund.

Board members adopted some policy changes recommended by the Illinois Association of School Boards; got reports on district buildings and on next year's school calendar; hired Grant Keller as high school boys golf coach; and hired Emily Petty as junior high school girls track coach.
