US Route 45 is Again Open; List of Other Area Road Closures

US Route 45 south of the Watson Y to Flora has been re-opened to all traffic as of Tuesday morning.

(THE CONDITIONS ON US ROUTE 45 BEFORE THE HIGHWAY WAS CLOSED MONDAY AFTERNOON; IT IS AGAIN OPEN AS OF TUESDAY MORNING)

Other county roads that are flooded and closed: 

• 100th Street, approximately 1 mile south of Beecher City
• 300th Street, just south of Route 33
• Fayette Avenue river bottoms, west of Effingham
• 1200th Street, just north of Route 33
• 1st Street (Route 128), approximately 1/2 mile north of 600th Avenue
• 300th Avenue, east of 200th Street
• 700th Avenue from 2100th Street to 2300th Street
• 400th Avenue, east of 1450th Street
• 500th Avenue, east of Route 45
• 300th Avenue, west of Route 45
• 700th Avenue, east of Route 45
• 700th Avenue, between 1600th and 1700th Street
• 920th Road, at 675th Avenue (north of Mason)
• Boggsville bottoms, 800th Street at 1000th Road

The bright spot is that a lengthy period of dry days is expected.
