Teutopolis Board Agrees to Stay in Electric Aggregation Group

Teutopolis village board members have voted to stay in the electric aggregation group intended to keep a lid on electric rates.

The Board voted to stay with Good Energy for residential and small business customers. They will seek bids on providing of electricity after the first of the year.

The Board also made the final payment to Luttrell Backhoe for box culvert installation work on Oak Street, and purchased a replacement time clock from Jansen's Computers. The Board also agreed to pay for a 15-week water treatment plant operator course for James Spour, and approved Christmas bonuses for village employees; $125 for fulltime workers and $100 for part-time staffers.
