Jasper County authorities have arrested six individuals in Wheeler on drug charges.

"Brad" Souden have all been charged with felony methamphetamine-related offenses. The six were arrested after service of a search warrant at 3160 E. State Highway 33 in Wheeler.

Hahn has charged with methamphetamine conspiracy, a Class X offense, and unlawful possession of meth precursor, a Class 2 felony. His bond was set at $75,000.

Souden was charged with methamphetamine conspiracy and aggravated participation in meth manufacturing, also a Class X felony, with bond set at $50,000.

In the early morning hours last Friday, Jasper County sheriff's deputies and Jasper County Sheriff Rick Britton worked in conjunction iwth Newton City Police K9 Officer Doug Bierman and his partner Dano to execute a search warrant looking for meth-related activity. Law enforcement officers located items consistent with the production of methamphetamine on the property, as well as the six people arrested. Miller said the charges in the case are aggravated by the activities occurring at a property where a minor resides.

Miller commended those involved in the investigation and apprehension and said the investigation continues.
