Brownstown School Board Holds September Meeting

The Brownstown school board this week approved the budget for the new fiscal year.

The Board also hired Jennifer Tackett was a teacher aide for the balance of the school year; approved Board policy updates for first reading; finalized a five-year review of Board policies as recommended by the Illinois Association of School Boards; retained Mid-West Truckers Association Drug and Alcohol Consortium for drug screenings; and approved an intergovernmental agreement with OKAW Area Vocational System.
