Constitution Week Observed in Effingham

Effingham Mayor Jeff Bloemker recently proclaimed the week of September 17-23, 2015 Constitution Week. September 17, 2015 marked the 228th anniversary of the framing of the Constitution of the United States of America by the Constitutional Convention.

Mayor Bloemker stated, "I am proud to execute this proclamation and ask the citizens of Effingham to join me in honoring the great national document that sets us apart from the rest of the world. Thank you to the Ann Crooker St. Clair DAR for the opportunity to do so!
