Trick or Treat Night in Effingham Will Again be on Halloween

In keeping with longtime practice, new Effingham Mayor Jeff Bloemker has announced that Trick or Treat Night in the city will be on Halloween.

Halloween, October 31, falls on a Saturday this year. Trick or Treat hours will be 6 to 8pm. Residents are asked to leave porch lights on for Trick or Treaters during those hours.

Parents are encouraged to dress children safely, provide adult supervision, and examine all treats to ensure a safe and happy Halloween.
