Sheriff's Deputy Finfrock Promoted

The Effingham County Sheriff’s Department has announced the recent promotion of Larry Finfrock from Corporal to Sergeant.

Sergeant Finfrock will be the front line supervisor of the Patrol Section for the Sheriff’s Office. He will be in charge of assigning Patrols, quality checking reports and generating the work schedule for the Deputies.

Finfrock has been employed at the Sheriff’s Office since March 1992, when he was hired as a part time Telecommunicator. He has held the position of Correctional Officer, Court Bailiff, Deputy Sheriff, Detective, and was a Patrol Corporal for the past eleven years. Finfrock and his wife, Karen reside in Altamont.
