Cowden-Herrick School Board September Meeting

Cowden-Herrick school board members Thursday passed a budget for the new fiscal year.

The Board also directed Superintendent Darrell Gordon to start work on the tentative tax levy, and heard from Gordon on income from the county sales tax and maintenance work being funded by the sales tax revenue.

Board members approved three days off for Angela Jeffries, approved a trip by eight students to the FFA National Convention at the end of October, and voted to extend part-time aide Mandy Watson to full-time aide for the balance of the school year.
