Dawn McDaid Joins SAMH Medical Staff

Dawn M. McDaid, MD, FACOG, who specializes in obstetrics and gynecology, has joined HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital’s Medical Staff.

Dr. McDaid, a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, comes to St. Anthony’s from Greenville Obstetrics & Gynecology, a division of Greenville Regional Hospital, in Greenville, as well as seeing patients at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia.

Dr. McDaid is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Medicine.  She did her internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, Minnesota, followed by her Residency at St. Louis University, in St. Louis.  Prior to attending Medical School, Dr. McDaid earned a Master’s Degree in Biology, and worked as a Medical Research Technologist at Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Research Assistant at St. Louis University School of Medicine, and Research Biologist at St. Louis Veteran’s Administration.
