Bloemker Announces Mayor's Blog

The City of Effingham along with Mayor Jeff Bloemker has announced the launch of a “Mayor’s Blog.”

Mayor Bloemker wants a way to inform the citizens of Effingham about important issues and gain feedback from the public on these issues. “In order to effectively govern the city, my administration needs feedback and ideas from the community. We hope by initiating these conversations we will give the community a collective voice that will give us a chance at being on the same page and moving in the same direction.”

The first blog post will be addressing Effingham’s Fourth of July celebration activities. What would you like to see take place in Effingham for Independence Day?
