Two Car Crash at Jaycee and Banker, One Injured

One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at Jaycee and Banker just before 5:30pm Saturday.

City police say a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Jacob Beck of Effingham turned in front of, and was struck by a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Janet West of Effingham. Beck was injured, but refused treatment. Beck was cited for leaving the scene of the crash, no valid driver's license and failure to yield.
