Two Women Sought for Burglaries and Forgeries

Two women are being sought in this area on counts of burglary and forgery.

31-year-old Heather McLane and 32-year-old Leslie McLane are wanted in Coles County. They are also persons of interest in several burglaries and forgeries that have occurred in Effingham, as well as Kankakee, Decatur, Charleston, Champaign, Gays, Tuscola and Shelbyville.

Coles County officials say the pair was last seen traveling in a dark blue or green 2005 Mercury sedan bearing an Illinois temporary plate. The vehicle has a dent in the rear passenger side fender.

Callers may remain anonymous and can qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to their arrest.
