Southern District US Attorney Stephen Wigginton said a Salem man has been sentenced to federal prison on meth offenses.

29-year-old Jeffrey Kirkman was sentenced to 54 months in prison for two counts of distribution of methamphetamine and one count of possession of pseudoephedrine, knowing it would be used to manufacture meth in Marion County during 2014.

The FBI and the Marion County and Clinton County sheriff's departments investigated the case.
