Koester Promoted to VP at Consolidated

Consolidated Communications (NASDAQ: CNSL) recently announced the promotion of Rob Koester to vice president of consumer product marketing.

Koester is responsible for the company’s customer product strategy and new product acquisition and development. He joined the company in 1999 and previously served in product management roles with increasing product development and launch responsibilities.

“Rob has been an integral part of our Product Marketing team for more than 15 years,” commented Michael Smith, chief marketing officer at Consolidated Communications. “He has served in numerous product management roles, led key strategic product roll-outs and brought about a disciplined product development process.”

Koester is active in the Conroe, Texas area currently serving on the Leadership Montgomery County Board as its chairman and on the executive board of the Conroe / Lake Conroe Texas Chamber of Commerce as vice chair of governmental affairs and community relations.  Koester also holds a seat on the board of the Montgomery County Texas United Way and is a past director of the College Park Village Association.

Koester is a native of Effngham and is the son of Madelyn Koester and the late Richard Koester. He and his wife Marilyn live in The Woodlands, Texas, and have three children.
