DuQuoin Fair Lineup in Place w/American Authors, Collective Soul, Montgomery Gentry

Hot off their chart topping single, "Best Day of My Life," the New York based quartet American Authors will bring their talents to the 2015 DuQuoin State Fair.  The group will perform on the Grandstand stage on Tuesday, September 1st. 

American Authors is currently out on their Go Big or Go Home tour, playing songs off their "Oh, What a Life" album.   Their 2014 hit "Best Day of My Life" has been featured in everything from television commercials to warm-up songs for NBA teams. 

Tickets for this concert will go on sale Wednesday, July 8th.   Ticket prices will range from $22-$17. 

Also added to the Grandstand line-up is the alternative-rock group, Collective Soul.  The Atlanta-based band shot to international fame with their 1993 hit song, "Shine."   The band's other hits include, "December," "The World I Know," and "Heavy."  Tickets for this concert also go on sale Wednesday, July 8th.   Ticket prices will range from $30-$25. 

On Thursday, September 3rd country music duo Montgomery Gentry will take to the grandstand stage.  Montgomery Gentry has become one of the most identifiable duos in country music, with more than a decade of hits, concerts and accolades under their belts.  Montgomery Gentry continues to draw packed crowds for their concerts, and continues to churn out hits that stay true to their Kentucky-country roots.  The award winning duo is known for hits such as "Something to Be Proud Of," "Where I Come From," "Hell Yeah," and "She Couldn't Change Me." 

Tickets for this concert also go on sale Wednesday, July 8th.   Ticket prices will range from $22-$17.

"This is a phenomenal line-up," said Assistant Fair Manager Norm Hill. "We have really upped our game here at the DuQuoin State Fair and we have brought in big name talent to play at the Grandstand.  More importantly, these tickets are extremely affordable."
