The trial of former Altamont resident Stephen B. Mislich has been delayed until August.

The decision was made in US District Court in Benton Wednesday. Mislich will now be tried on August 15, with a final pre-trial hearing on July 22.

Mislich faces a 12-count indictment including one count of identity theft, five counts of extortion, three counts of harassment, two counts of producing child pornography and one count of distributing child pornography.

It's alleged that Mislich hacked into online accounts for nude photos that allegedly led to attempts to harass and extort those who posted the photos into providing additional photos. The child pornography counts allege that one of the people whose nude photos were allegedly obtained by Mislich was 16 years old at the time.

Mislich remains in custody.
