Brownstown Man Suffers Seizure While Driving

A vehicle driven by a Brownstown man was involved in a crash after the man suffered a seizure.

State police say Jeff Ward was traveling on Illinois Route 185 southwest of Brownstown when he suffered the seizure. Ward's van ran off the roadway into a beanfield.

Ward was taken to Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia. He was cited for driving while his license is revoked.

The incident happened just after 4pm Monday.
