The City of Effingham Emergency Management Agency is inviting all public safety agencies, community organizations, school groups, bands, clubs and anyone else that would like to get together with friends and family to participate in the 2015 Effingham 4th of July Parade.

The parade again this year will begin at Second and Jefferson and follow the Effingham High School Homecoming Parade route, west on Jefferson to Cherry Street, south on Cherry to Grove Avenue, and west on Grove to the Effingham High School parking lot. Lineup will be on Second Street, with first responders lining up on First Street.

Lineup will begin at 4pm, with the parade to step off at 5:30pm. The route is in conjunction with the Effingham 4th of July fireworks display, which again this year will take place at the Effingham High School athletic complex.

For more information, or an entry form, phone City EMA Coordinator Kim Tegeler at 342-5368 or e-mail tegelerk@ci.effingham.il.us.

Registration is encouraged by June 26.
