St. Elmo Board Approves Land Purchases

The St. Elmo school board Monday approved two purchases of property.

The Board agreed to purchase a cleared lot at 516 W. Hazel Street from Scott Sieron for $10,000 and purchased cleared lots at 512 and 514R W. Hazel from Joan Myers for $17,500. The lots are near the elementary building.  

The Board also approved Stacy Gibson's contract as speech/language pathologist for the coming school year; set a hearing on the amended fiscal year budget for June 22; and approved next year's school calendar. The Board also okayed hiring of those for extra-curricular position, and approved a community eligibility option school lunch program for Grades K through 8.
