The Emergency Notification System for the city of Effingham has been updated.

Effingham residents will be notified about issues that may effect their residence, neighborhood, business or the city of Effingham. The system will allow City officials to contact thousands of residents and/or businesses with important information that may affect you, your family or your employees.

Emergency Notification System can deliver messages to you any way you desire...on your home phone, cell phone, email, and more. You will receive messages from police, fire, Public Works, or any City department that feels you, your family or your business is in imminent danger.

To sign up for the new system, click here.

Residents are asked to create their own profile and register their personal information, used only for the purpose of alerting them of a situation, or they can contact City EMA Coordinator Kim Tegeler at 217-342-5368 or Communication Manager Jodi Moomaw at 217-342-5327 for questions or assistance in getting signed up.
