Local Man Part of Honor Flight Today

Longtime Effingham teacher and coach Glen Temple is a part of today's Honor Flight to Washington, DC.

The group flew out of Springfield early today on the way to a tour of the nation's capital to tour the sights including the memorials built in veterans' honor. They'll be back in Springfield later tonight. Anyone wishing to head to the Springfield airport to welcome the veterans home is welcome to do so.
