Two people were injured in a collision at Jefferson and Henrietta.

The crash happened at 1:47pm Tuesday. Effingham City Police report a vehicle 52-year-old Keith Postlewait of Willow Hill rear-ended a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Edward Davis of St. Elmo, causing Davis' vehicle to rear-end a vehicle driven by 46-year-old Becky Ruesken of Effingham.

Davis and a passenger in Davis' vehicle, 24-year-old Cassandra Frey of St. Elmo, were both injured. Davis refused treatment, but Frey was taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.

Postlewait was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
