Herrick Man Killed in Shelby County Crash

A Herrick man was killed in a crash Monday evening in Shelby County.

Shelby County Coroner Brian Green said 30-year-old Matthew Grissom was the person killed in the crash that occurred on US 51 about five miles south of Pana at 6:55pm. Green said the vehicle was involved in a rollover incident. Grissom was the only person in the vehicle and Green said no other vehicles were involved. Grissom was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by Illinois State Police and the Shelby County Coroner's Office.

Kennedy Funeral Home in Herrick will handle arrangements for Matthew Grissom.
